An accident early Tuesday afternoon on US 30 in Ontario resulted in injury to two Galion men. One of the men was flown by medical helicopter to OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus with what were described as serious injuries.
According to the Mansfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a vehicle driven by 86-year-old Chester Millheim of Ashland was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes when it struck a vehicle driven by John Harsh of Galion. Harsh was taken by ambulance to a Mansfield hospital while his passenger, 70-year-old Ernie Hall of Galion, was flown to Columbus.
Millheim was also taken to a Mansfield hospital.
The accident occurred between Rock Road and Fourth Street shortly before 1 p.m. and closed the eastbound lanes of US 30 for approximately three hours.
