Two men from Bucyrus were sentenced to prison terms Thursday in Common Pleas Court. One went directly to jail while the other will have eight days before reporting.

Thirty-four-year-old Rocky McCleese pleaded guilty at an initial hearing on charges he violated terms of his community control. McCleese admitted to using heroin as well as other violations.

McCleese, who was on judicial release after serving a portion of a prison sentence for attempted escape, was returned to prison to serve the balance of his sentence with credit for 240 days served in the county jail.

Thirty-year-old Carl Wiggins pleaded guilty to a charge of having weapons while under disability and was sentenced to 36 months in prison, but he can apply for judicial release after serving nine months. Wiggins had a previous conviction for felonious assault.

Wiggins was released from custody following Thursday’s hearing and must report to the county jail on Oct. 18 for transport to prison.
