GALION―The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, along with Metrich, Galion Police and the Crawford County Special Response team, converged on a Galion residence with a narcotic search warrant in hand.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, law enforcement officers confiscated drugs, drug paraphernalia and cash from the house, located at 1409 Baehr St.
Edward L. Johnson, 43, and Nichole M. Cooley, 33, were arrested on several charges including trafficking in drugs and possession of drugs. Cooley’s charges are fifth-degree felonies while one of Johnson’s trafficking charges is a second-degree felony.
They were taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court on the pending charges as the investigation continues.
