BUCYRUS — Two individuals were arrested on drug charges after a search warrant was executed Friday afternoon.
According to a report from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and members of METRICH made arrests in the 800 block of East Mansfield Street in Bucyrus shortly after noon on Aug. 9.
Megan Phillips, 28, was arrested on an existing warrant.
After a brief foot chase, Nicholas C. Biederman, 33, also was arrested for obstructing justice, drug paraphernalia and possession of drug abuse instruments.
Law enforcement officials on scene found suspected heroin, pills and other unknown drugs. The drugs were collected to be sent to a lab for testing.
Phillips and Biederman both may face additional charges once the drugs are identified.
The Bucyrus Police Department assisted with the arrests and search.
