Two co-defendants in a Galion robbery pleaded not guilty during arraignment proceedings in Crawford County Common Pleas Court on Monday.
Both Kenneth Higgins and Michael Rose were indicted by the Grand Jury and charged with the first-degree felony offenses. Bond was set at $500,000 for Higgins who had to be extradited from Florida.
Two defendants in unrelated cases entered pleas of guilty. Ryan Bestin pleaded guilty to misuse of a credit card which is a fifth-degree felony.
Ashley Hickock pleaded guilty to fifth-degree felony theft stemming from an incident earlier this month at Wal-Mart. The amount of the theft was over $1,300. Both Bestin and Hickock were released on personal recognizance bonds pending a pre-sentence investigation.
A total of 21 people were arraigned Monday on felony charges.
