One man and one woman appeared in front of Judge Sean Leuthold on Monday as a result of allegations they violated their probations. One is going to prison, the other to the county jail.

Twenty-eight-year-old Chelsea Griffin admitted to changing addresses without notifying her probation officer and failing to meet as required. Griffin, who was originally convicted of felony 5 drug possession was sentenced to nine months in prison.

However, the judge told Griffin he would recommend transitional control so her actual time in prison would be short and the balance of her time will be in a halfway house.
