Bucyrus police had a busy post-Christmas weekend making three arrests.
Kelsey D. Belcher, 23, of Marion Rd. was arrested at 11:41a.m. on December 27 in the 600 block of Prospect St. and charged with possession of heroin and possessing drug abuse instruments. She was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center pending a court appearance.
Acting on a Crawford County warrant, Carrie L. Cain, 35, Lawn Ave. was arrested by Bucyrus police at 1:24 p.m. on Sunday in the 500 block of South Sandusky. Cain was given a court date to appear.
In an unrelated warrant, Bucyrus police arrested Kristopher Davidson in the 600 block of South Sandusky Ave. at 8:25 p.m. Sunday. Davidson, 29, was given a court date then released.
Investigating things that go bump in the night Saturday, Bucyrus police officers and members of the Bucyrus Fire Department found an exploded works bomb, as well as one that had not exploded, in the 1400 block of Rosedale Ave. The Bucyrus Fire Department took control of the scene and disposed of the item.
Galion police arrested six people during the week of Christmas. The arrests started with twenty-eight-year-old Jason Allen Speer on Christmas Eve and continued into Christmas Day with thirty-eight-year-old Jason A. Daniel.
Two others were arrested on Dec. 26 on unrelated charges. Officers picked up and arrested twenty-three-year-old Phillip J. Beloat for domestic violence. Thirty-one-year-old Jennifer Dawn Damron of Bucyrus was also arrested.
Lonnie Ray Chaney, 36, was arrested on Dec. 27 on unspecified charges. Glen Alan Keller, 39, was arrested on Dec. 29 for disorderly conduct by intoxication.
Three people were arrested on Dec. 29. Ricky Walker of Bucyrus is being held for investigation after the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office arrested him early Sunday morning. Glen A. Keller was arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication early Sunday morning. He was held until sober. Upper Sandusky Police arrested Stephanie Michelle Smith on a bench warrant for failure to appear at a probation violation hearing. She is being held for court.
