Truck enthusiast descended upon the Crawford County Fairgrounds Friday evening for the Crawford Antique Farm Machinery Association’s Truck Pull.

Closing out the second day of the fourteenth annual Crawford Antique Farm Machinery Association Crawford Farm Machinery Show truck classes took centerfield at the grandstands vying for a full pull.

Alyssa Gottfried who attended the event with Aaron Clinate said, “It is nice. We haven’t been here for long; we just got here.”
“I prefer the trucks over the tractors,” Gottfired continued.

Tomorrow it will be the tractors’ turn to pull the sled as the tractor pull will begin at 9 a.m, with a garden tractor pull taking place at noon.
The Antique Tractor Parade will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday which begins at the fairgrounds before traveling downtown and returning to the fairgrounds.

“We have all of our members working this weekend, from collecting at the gates, working the machines, and tending to the museum,” Crawford Antique Farm Machinery Association Treasurer Dorothy Haas said. “Really though if it wasn’t for the sponsors we couldn’t do the show.”
