A Crestline teenager was killed in a Richland County traffic accident in October and now a truck driver from Indiana may spend as much in eight years in prison as a result.
The Richland County Grand Jury has returned an indictment against 24-year-old Gurkipal Singh charging him with aggravated vehicular assault, aggravated vehicular homicide, all felonies, and misdemeanor vehicular homicide.
Killed in the Oct. 4 accident was 19-year-old Jaycob Pearson. The accident involved four vehicles, including the one in which Pearson was a passenger and the semitruck Singh was driving.
The accident occurred on U.S. 30 near the Trimble Road exit in Mansfield.
