BUCYRUS — Once again the Crawford County community has come together with results that exceeded expectations.
Deb Pinion and Wanda Sharrock started taking collections Monday for the victims of a recent tornado that devastated Kentucky.
“To steal a quote from the movie Jaws, ‘We’re gonna need a bigger boat’, but in this case a bigger trailer,” Pinion said.
Donations of every kind requested have poured into the two drop off locations at Ohio Auto on West Mansfield St. and the Bucyrus Nazarene Church on St. Rt. 4 South.
Now, with the overwhelming support from the community, Pinion and Sharrock need an additional covered trailer or trucks to deliver the supplies.
Due to the need for additional transportation assistance and the upcoming holiday weekend, supplies will be delivered to Kentucky on Monday.
If you can help with the transport of these crucial supplies, please contact Deb Pinion at 419-562-3288.
