BUCYRUS—On Sunday at approximately 4:50 pm, Bucyrus Police Officers stopped a black sedan observed speeding, as well as registration violations.
Officers eventually searched the driver’s vehicle, recovering two handguns (one believed to be stolen out of Scioto County, with the serial number ground off). Also recovered were 209 Gabapentin pills and 88 suboxone pills as well as meth and drug paraphernalia.
April Copeland (South Webster, Ohio) was charged with Improper handling of firearms in a motor vehicle, possession of drugs (F5), and (M1) possession of drug paraphernalia.
