BUCYRUS―A traffic stop at 5:40 p.m. Thursday in the 3000 block of Plymouth Street near the city limits resulted in the seizure of more than 10 grams of suspected methamphetamine from the occupants of the vehicle and led to the search of a house trailer later that night.
At 9:42 p.m., officers served a search warrant at a house trailer in the 800 block of Hopley Avenue and seized suspected at least 10 more grams of suspected methamphetamine.
According to Bucyrus Police Chief Dave Koepke, one person was arrest from the traffic stop on Plymouth Street and police are currently searching for a woman who resides at the trailer on Hopley Avenue.
“The woman who resides in the house trailer left her workplace in the middle of the night and fled. She is welcome to turn herself in at the police department,” Koepke said.
Both incidents remain under investigation.

7:46 a.m.-Officers spoke with a Reid Street resident regarding loud exhaust.
9:30 a.m.-Officers assisted the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office in delivering a message in the 1400 block of Cullen Avenue.
10:07 a.m.-Officers made a civil standby in the 200 block of North Spring Street.
12:13 p.m.-A report of two loose feeder steers from Producers Livestock was received. The cows have still not been located and were last seen wandering near the Sunrise Plant on Plymouth Street.
2:06 p.m.-An employee at Hymiler reported a shoplifting incident from the store.
2:21 p.m.-Officers investigated a traffic complaint near the post office.
4:07 p.m.-A resident in the 300 block of East Warren Street reported her vehicle possibly vandalized by a known to her. There was no damage to the vehicle and the involved person calmed down.
5:35 p.m.-A resident in the 300 block of Lawn Avenue reported a vehicle stolen. It was repossessed by the titled owner.
5:55 p.m.-A report of a suspicious male wearing a red hoodie and black pants car prowling and trespassing in the 1500 block of Fairview Avenue was investigated.
6:07 p.m.-Officers checked the welfare of a person in the 100 block of West Mansfield Street.
6:47 p.m.-A person came to the police department to report harassing messages.
7:20 p.m.-Officers checked the welfare of a resident in the 200 block of North Highland Avenue.
7:46 p.m.-Officers attempted to assist Morrow County authorities locate a possibly suicidal person who may have been in town. He was not located in Bucyrus.
8:26 p.m.-Officers assisted a person experiencing mental issues in the 500 block of Ridge Avenue.

12:39 a.m.-A disturbance in the 100 block of West Mansfield Street was investigated and a patron warned for trespassing was at the property. The person left voluntarily.
1:32 a.m.-Officers checked the 500 block of West Oakwood Avenue for a reported suspicious male on a bicycle that appeared to be car prowling.
4:09 a.m.-Jeremia Batcheller, 20, was arrested near Hardee’s in the 500 block of South Sandusky Avenue on a Crawford County warrant for domestic violence. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.
6:13 a.m.-A resident in the 300 block of Iron Street reported his rear license plate stolen off his vehicle.
