BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—On December 15, 2025, at around 3:44 p.m., Officer Wireman initiated a traffic stop in the 300 block of North Sandusky Avenue due to an equipment violation.
Upon approaching the vehicle, the officer noted several criminal indicators that prompted further investigation.

During the investigation, a passenger in the vehicle, 36-year-old John Murrell from Bucyrus, was found to be in possession of approximately 3 grams of suspected methamphetamine and 15 Suboxone pills.
Following the discovery of these substances, Murrell was taken into custody and transported to the Crawford County Justice Center, where he is being held on felony drug possession charges.
