SANDUSKY COUNTY, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—A traffic accident involving a school bus left several students injured on Thursday evening. The incident occurred shortly after the bus, operated by Northwood Local School District, departed from Lakota Schools, where a junior high school football game had taken place.
According to Sandusky County Sheriff Chris Hilton, a total of nine individuals were transported to local hospitals following the crash.
Among them, one person required airlifting via medical helicopter for urgent care.
Sheriff Hilton stated that his deputies are working alongside troopers from Post 72 to investigate the incident. As the investigation continues, the current conditions of those injured remain unknown.
