CRAWFORD COUNTY, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)— Crawford County will participate in the statewide tornado drill on Wednesday, March 19, activating its tornado sirens at 9:50 a.m., according to the Crawford County Emergency Management Agency (EMA).
The drill, part of Ohio’s Severe Weather Awareness Week, aims to provide residents an opportunity to practice their safe sheltering plans.
“This week is Severe Weather Awareness Week! On Wednesday, March 19 at 9:50 AM, a Statewide tornado drill will take place. Ohioans are encouraged to use this as an opportunity to practice their safe sheltering plans,” Crawford County EMA stated in a release.
