Like the rest of Ohio, Crawford County voters should head out to the polls tomorrow to cast a ballot in the May Primary – unless they opted to vote early or by absentee ballot.
One statewide issue is on the ballot, a proposed Constitutional amendment to fund public infrastructure capital improvements by issuing general obligation bonds.
Colonel Crawford, Mohawk, Ridgedale, Tri-Rivers and Willard school districts have issues on the ballot. The Colonel Crawford issue is a 0.5-mill general improvement levy to qualify the district for state funding for a new high school wing on the William and Hannah Crawford school building.
There is only one local contested primary for a place on the November ballot. Republicans Richard Monk, Michael Schiefer and Jenny Vermillion are vying for that party’s slot to run for the Crawford County Commissioner’s seat currently held by Vermillion.
All polls open at 6:30 a.m. and close at 7:30 p.m.
