Today is the day citizens have the privilege of making their voices heard by exercising their franchise to vote in the General Election. Polls opened at 6:30 this morning and will close at 7:30 this evening.

There are three statewide issues to be decided including Issue 3 proposing the legalization of marijuana.

A levy for the county’s Health District is the one common issue in Crawford County – minus the City of Galion. Although the Municipal Court bench is also on the ballot, only presiding Judge Shane Leuthold has filed.

Most every community will elect city officials with mayors to be determined in Bucyrus, Crestline and New Washington. Every township will vote on trustee and fiscal clerk. There are also several township levies on the ballot including new levies in Cranberry, Holmes and Sandusky townships.

All school districts will elect board members, but Galion’s renewal is the only school levy on the ballot.

Tune into WQEL tonight for results or return to this site for complete results from Crawford County voters.
