The Bucyrus Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 7:40 P.M. on October 11, 2015. The crash occurred on Quigg Road, approximately three quarters of a mile east of New Haven Road.
Troopers report that Larry Rhinebolt, 59, of Tiro was westbound on Quigg Road in a 2013 Chevrolet truck when his vehicle ran off the roadway to the left. His vehicle then crossed back over the road and ran off the right side of the road. The vehicle struck several trees before overturning and coming to final rest in the tree line. Rhinebolt was not wearing his safety belt and was ejected from the vehicle.
Rhinebolt was pronounced dead at the scene by Life Flight. Troopers were assisted on scene by Life Star Ambulance, Tiro Alburn Fire Department and Life Flight.
The crash remains under investigation.
