BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—A Tiro man has been taken back into custody Tuesay night and faces additional felony charges following a significant drug bust earlier this month.
Jon Schreck, 47, appeared before Crawford County Common Pleas Court Judge Sean Leuthold via video link from the Crawford County Jail Wednesday morning.
The new charges stem from a drug operation discovered on July 10 at a residence on 1112 Beck Road in Tiro. Prior to his rearrest, Schreck was out on cash bond.
Schreck has been indicted by the Crawford County Grand Jury on a charge of drug cultivation, a second-degree felony that carries a mandatory minimum sentence of eight years in prison. He also faces three felony counts related to the obtaining, possession, and use of controlled substances.
Judge Leuthold set Schreck’s new bond at $150,000. Should he secure his release, he will be required to remain under house arrest.
Crawford County Now will continue to provide updates on this developing story.
