TIFFIN, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Tiffin Police Chief David Pauly released the following statement thanking residents for their out pouring of support in light of this week’s homicide/suicide tragedy:
I would like to take a moment to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart, and on behalf of every man and woman of the Tiffin Police Department.
This has been a week none of us ever expected and one we will never forget. When something this unimaginable and tragic happens here in Tiffin, it shakes not just the department, but our entire community. And yet, even in the hardest moments, this community did what it always does: it wrapped its arms around us and each other.
The outpouring of support has been overwhelming in the best way possible. Hundreds and hundreds of emails, texts, phone calls, messages, and comments. Prayers. Well-wishes. Kind words. And food… a lot of food. Every single gesture has been a reminder that we are not alone, and that this community genuinely has our back.
There are far too many people, businesses, organizations, and restaurants to thank individually and if I tried, I know I would miss someone. So instead, please hear this clearly:
We feel your support. And we are beyond grateful. Thank you.
