The Bucyrus Secondary School vocal music department is now selling tickets to the spring musical, “James and the Giant Peach.” The first performance will take place at 7 p.m. March 9, with two performances at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. March 10 in the BSS Little Theatre. Tickets are $6 for students/children and $8 for adults and can be purchased in advance or at the door.
There is also the option of purchasing dinner along with tickets for Saturday night’s performance. The Empty Bowls dinner is sponsored by the Art Club, and all proceeds go to support the Bucyrus Backpack Program. Tickets for the Empty Bowls dinner and the performance Saturday night are $16 for students and $18 for adults. Dinner will be served beginning at 5:30 p.m. March 10, and will include soup, salad, bread and beverage, and a handmade bowl created by a member of the Secondary School Art Club.
“I hope parents and community members will show their support as everyone involved has worked diligently on this musical,” said Kaitlyn Fourman, Director of Choirs. “They’re very enthusiastic, and I know they would appreciate the support.”
