Three teenagers were taken to the hospital after an early morning accident Wednesday.
The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office responded to two-vehicle injury accident that occurred on Ohio 598 south of Cole Rd. Preliminary investigation has shown that 17-year-old Dakota Hensley of Bucyrus had been traveling southbound on Ohio 598 when he lost control of his vehicle, a 2003 Ford Taurus, and struck a Volve semi traveling northbound. The driver of the second vehicle was 68-year-old Larry Watkins of Galion.
Both vehicles sustained heavy damage and towed from the scene.
Hensley and his two passengers, Devin Alspach of Bloomville and Mark Garcia of Bucyrus, both aged 17, were transported to Galion Community Hospital by Lifestar.
Tiro-Auburn Fire Department also responded to the scene.
