BUCYRUS―Three people were arrested Thursday evening during a traffic stop by Bucyrus Police.
A vehicle was stopped by officers at 8:16 p.m. in the 1300 block of East Mansfield Street near the intersection at Whetstone Street. The driver of the vehicle, Samuel Singer, 34, Bucyrus, was issued a citation for driving with an expired operator’s license. Singer told officers he had to drive to pick up a pizza.
A search of the vehicle was conducted and officers seized about five grams of suspected methamphetamine.
Singer and the passengers in the vehicle, Jeffrey Ramsey, 46, and Brooke Davis, 26, were arrested for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center.
The vehicle was towed from the scene by Ronk’s Towing Service.
