The Ohio Department of Transportation is busy with three road construction projects underway locally and they are all on the east side of the county.
U.S. Rt. 30 beginning at the east side of Bucyrus and continuing to the West Fourth Street interchange in Mansfield will be down to one lane of traffic in both directions while the highway is being resurfaced.
The completion date is October. Portland Way South in Galion from Harding Way to Grove Avenue is closed to southbound traffic as part of the widening project there.
Finally, St. Rt. 598 north of St. Rt. 96 in Vernon Township is closed for a bridge replacement. That road is expected to re-open in mid-October.
