CRESTLINE — On Feb. 12, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, Crawford County Special Response Team and Metrich executed a narcotic search warrant at 320 West Ave. Crestline.

The search warrant was a result of an ongoing drug investigation where methamphetamine was being sold. The investigation was led by the Sheriff’s Office but was a joint effort between law enforcement in Crawford County.

While officers conducted the search of the residence, drugs (suspected methamphetamine) drug paraphernalia and cash were seized.

Officers also discovered a device in the garage that appeared to be a homemade pipe bomb.

Officers contacted Ashland County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad which responded to the scene. Bomb squad personnel used a robot to detonate the device and later found the device to be safe.

Arrested during the search warrant was the following:

  • Terry L. Thoman- Same address DOB: 5/23/1965
    Trafficking in Methamphetamine Felony 3
    Possession of drugs methamphetamine Felony 3
  • Juanita J Diles- Same address DOB: 4/24/1967
    Possession Drugs Methamphetamine Felony 5
  • Jeremy M. Wise- Same address DOB: 12/4/1979
    Possession of drugs Methamphetamine Felony 5

This is an ongoing investigation and will be reviewed by the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office for additional charges.
