GALION — Three men were arrested following a crash on U.S. 30, east of Ohio 598, on Sunday afternoon.
At approximately 3:44 p.m., emergency crews were dispatched to a black 2004 Acura which had driven off the right side of the road and into a ditch.
According to a report by the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, deputies located a 9mm Taurus firearm, a .40-caliber Smith and Wesson firearm and 1,789 blue pills, suspected of being Oxycodone Hydrochloride, with a street value more than $60,000.

As a result, 22-year-old Cristian Matos and 34-year-old Jose Cardona, both of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and 22-year-old Bryan Quinones of Kissimmee, Florida, were arrested on possession of drugs charges.
Cardona was transported to Galion Community Hospital for unknown injuries.
The Jefferson Township Fire Department, Ohio State Highway Patrol and Portsmouth Emergency Ambulance Service also responded to the scene.
The incident remains under investigation with the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office and METRICH and the case is being reviewed by the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office.
