Shelby – The Pioneer Career and Technology Center Board of Education met January 11, 2017 for an Organizational Meeting. The Oath of Office was administered to reappointed members Margie Prater and Mike Grady. Douglas Theaker was elected as Board President for 2017 and Dennis Long was elected as Vice-President. Mary Dixon was appointed as the Legislative Liaison for 2017 and Mary Jean Theaker as the Student Achievement Liaison. Bill Hope, Paul Johnson and Douglas Theaker were appointed to the Finance Audit Committee.
The Board of Education established the date and time of the regular board meetings as the 3rd Monday of the month, 7:00 pm in the Board of Education Office Conference room at Pioneer.
The Pioneer Board of Education consists of representatives named from Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center (6), Bucyrus City Schools (1), Willard City Schools (1), Galion City Schools (1), Shelby City Schools (1) and Crestline Exempted Village School District (1).
