A new worship service, titled The Touch, begins Sunday, September 15 and continues each Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Bucyrus United Methodist Church Worship Center, 227 S Walnut St., Bucyrus.
“While this service is open to everyone, it is primarily for people who, for whatever reason, are not always comfortable in the usual worship environment because of their life circumstances,” said Pastor Mike Corwin.
“In the Bible, there is a story about a woman who suffered for 12 years with a problem. No one she went to could heal her, until she found the touch of Jesus,” Corwin added. “We know there are a lot of people in our community who suffer from various problems today and need to find the touch of Jesus. We are offering this service to help them find that touch. “
Bucyrus UMC Worship Center is located at the corners of Walnut St. and Warren Ave. The Worship Center is handicapped accessible and air conditioned. A staffed nursery is available. The church also holds two Sunday morning services at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. The congregation is led by Pastors Mike Corwin and Don Kraps.
