After a few years of being unused, the Crestline Banquet Hall held a grand reopening Saturday.
Taking over management of the hall from Steve McKown, Stephanie Zader breathed new life into the building with a grand reopening and ribbon cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. Saturday. As part of the grand reopening festivities, the Crestline Banquet Hall hosted vendors featuring handmade crafts and local jewelry artists, as well as refreshments welcoming members from the community visiting the banquette hall.
“I started my own event planning business in December of last year and we were talking about it in a meeting, and talking about how I wasn’t sure if I was actually going to keep it open and the current owner mentioned that he had banquet hall he wasn’t really utilizing. So we got to talking, and I decided to come in and make it happen,” Zader said.
Besides weddings, anniversaries and birthday parties, Zader said the Banquet Hall in Crestline will feature three annual events which will host venders with activities outside. The first will be the spring extravaganza which will take place the first weekend of March. Another will be the annual anniversary get together which will happen during the first weekend in August, and the third will be a Christmas show during the first weekend of December.”
