BUCYRUS – The Horseshoe Bar on Washington Square has undergone a significant renovation to begin a new era. Co-owners Dean and Terri Stuckman had a list of projects they wanted to complete in 2023 to show their historic building some extra love. Now, they have completed the bulk of their initial renovations and are organizing events to give back to the community.

The Bucyrus couple is planning to hold events such as pool tournaments and live music to welcome patrons to the renovated bar. The Horseshoe Bar is set to host two groups this month, with Arthor Wrytus on April 22 and the Railers on April 29, both from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Additionally, pool tournaments are scheduled every Thursday and Saturday, and the owners have initiated a new Ladies’ Night where women can enjoy a $1 discount on drinks every Friday.

As one of the newest members, The Horseshoe Bar is partnering with the Bucyrus Area Chamber of Commerce to celebrate their renovations on April 28. The festivities will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4 p.m. Food will be available from the OH-TX food truck, and Happy Hour will run from 4-6 p.m. Everyone is welcome to join in the celebration.

Everyone needs a little TLC, even a staple community business, and The Horseshoe Bar is looking forward to welcoming patrons to its renovated establishment with a warm atmosphere, cold drinks, and clean facilities.
