The Crawford Park District will be telling tales about escaping through Crawford County.
The Tellin’ Tales and Leesville History programs will be teaming up to focus on the history of the Underground Railroad in Crawford County. On a map from “The Mysteries of Ohio’s Underground Railroads”, Crawford County shows Galion, Leesville, Bucyrus, and Tiro on the escape routes. Retired history teacher Dave Fisher will be present as a resource person.
The program will take place at 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, Oct. 25 at the Lowe-Volk Park Nature Center.
