The Crestline Community Development Team is searching for teams for the Crestline Community Clean-Up Challenge.
The challenge, set for 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 2, is open to community groups, school groups, or church youth groups in Crestline. Groups are challenged to collect as much trash in public places as they can. The group that collects the most trash will win a prize while the group with the best theme will also win a prize.
The event will start at the Crestline Village Hall parking lot before heading to public spaces in town to collect litter and trash. The refuse will then be brought back to Village Hall for a final judging to determine a winner.
To register for the Crestline Community Clean-Up Challenge call Village Councilman Clayton Herold at 419-689-3711. The deadline to register is April 29.
