BUCYRUS — The 2020 Crawford Soil and Water Conservation District Pond Clinic will be July 30.
Crawford SWCD will have Eugene Braig from OSU Aquatic Ecosystems to discuss pond management, and an Ohio Division of Wildlife officer to speak about nuisance wildlife and how to manage them. Pond construction and re-construction will also be presented by the SWCD Technician.
The Whetstone Go-Getters 4-H Club will provide a light meal starting at 5:15 p.m. by the Gwirtz Pond at 7689 German Rd., Crestline. The evening will end by 7:45 p.m. with Q and A ending the evening from all presenting speakers.
Anyone with an aquatic plant they cannot identify may bring it and the guest speakers will help identify it. There will also be many common aquatic plants on display and the speakers will focus on how to manage them.
