The next time the Crestline Village Council meets it will be the first time in a long time all the seats on council are filled. The Village Council met in special session on Monday and named Tina Swartz to fill Mike Blaising’s seat.
Blaising resigned in January after serving the village for more than 25 years. That seat was the final vacancy on the council that had been hit with four resignations since October. Council now has more appointees than elected members.
Swartz is a mental health professional in Richland County.
Other council members who have been appointed to fill vacancies created by resignations include Gene Toy, Edward Allen Moore and Allen Laferty.
