For the second time in as many weeks, a gas station within the county was robbed at gun point.

According to a press release sent out by the Galion Police Department, on December 12, 2013 just before 8:00 pm, the Galion Police Department responded to Moto Mart, 604 Harding Way East on a Robbery call. Officers were advised that a white male, between 5’09” – 6’0” wearing a black coat, khaki pants, gloves and a mask entered the store and demanded money. The suspect brandished a handgun at the employees during the robbery. The suspect made off with an undetermined amount of money and fled the store on a bicycle heading westbound from the store.

No one was injured during the robbery.

A similar robbery occurred on December 5, 2013 at the Bucyrus Sunoco gas station on North Sandusky Street in which a suspect was reported to be wearing a mask, black hoodie, and khaki slacks robbed the gas station at gun point.

Bucyrus Police are still searching for the suspect in that case as well.
