All six Crawford County school districts and Pioneer Career and Technology Center were at Crestline High School Wednesday night for the 20th annual B.E.S.T. Awards.

Hosted by the Crawford County Education and Economic Development Partnership, the B.E.S.T. Awards honors two students from each school and those students, in turn, select an educator that inspired them to be honored.

BEST awards David WilliamsonPartnership Director David Williamson was presented with the Steve Tilson Award.

“I think it is nice that I think this community is acknowledging the importance of education. That’s a lot of our role; that is why we changed our name,” Williamson said. “Rather than just economic development, we are about education and economic development.”

In total 28 students and educators were given B.E.S.T. Awards given Wednesday night with the students introducing the educator who inspired them.
