DELAWARE, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Former Bucyrus attorney Adam Stone changed his plea on criminal charges Monday morning in the Delaware Common Pleas Court.

Stone faced serious allegations, including telecommunications fraud, impersonating a police officer, grand theft, and identity fraud.

Stone will be sentenced for telecommunications fraud (third degree felony) and grand theft (4th degree felony).

As part of the plea deal, Stone has also agreed to pay restitution of $10,653.25 to his victims, Dan and Mindi Straker.

Stone will plead guilty to: Telecommunications Fraud (third-degree felony), attempted impersonation of a Peace Officer (fourth-degree felony)

The State will recommend a prison term and oppose judicial release but will not object to a Pre-Sentence Investigation.

Stone agrees to pay restitution to the victims, waive his rights to appeal the sentence.

Both parties will jointly recommend a specific prison term, which will not be subject to appellate review.
