BUCYRUSꟷA vehicle reported stolen Sunday afternoon had already been recovered earlier by the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.

The vehicle was reported stolen by a resident at 1:49 p.m. Sunday in the 1200 block of North Sandusky Avenue who had spent Saturday night out of town. When the person arrived home, they realized their vehicle had been stolen.

It was determined the stolen vehicle was the same vehicle involved in a one-vehicle crash in the New Winchester area that is under investigation by the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office. Bucyrus Police officers had attempted to notify the owner of the stolen red Ford truck of the crash at 4:46 a.m. Sunday morning but no one was home. The vehicle had been found on its side with no one around.

8:20 a.m.-Officers investigated a report of a domestic dispute in the 1400 block of Cullen Court. People had a verbal dispute about the location of a vehicle preventing yard work.

10:12 a.m.-Officers assisted with a vehicle lockout in the 700 block of Earl Street.

10:26 a.m.-Officers investigated a report of a domestic dispute in the 900 block of Wingert Street.

1:04 p.m.-A one-vehicle accident was investigated in the alley of the 200 block of East Rensselaer Street. A vehicle had minor contact with a pole near the Salvation Army.

4:00 p.m.- A welfare check was requested in the 1100 block of Jefferson Street. Officers could hear the resident inside who had fallen and couldn’t get up. EMS personnel was dispatched and entry to the residence was gained. The person was provided with medical care.

4:26 p.m.-A person at the hospital with a minor injury reported involvement in a traffic crash. The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office responded as the incident happened in the county.

5:38 p.m.- A traffic complaint was made in the area of Plymouth Street. The Ohio State Patrol transferred a call of the reckless operation of a silver Cadillac that exited US 30 at Ohio 98 heading to a residence on Plymouth Street.

5:48 p.m.-EMS personnel was dispatched to a residence on North Sandusky Avenue for a person who had food stuck in their throat.

8:05 p.m.- A disturbance was investigated in the 300 block of Clinton Street. A person was outside a residence reportedly drunk, kicking the house and screaming. The person left for the night and neither party claimed assault.

8:08 p.m.- Officers spoke to a person about a possible theft pertaining to Medicare fraud or a scam in the 800 block of West Mary Street.

8:59 p.m.- A person came to the police department to turn themself in for active warrants. Michael Lawson, 34, was arrested on Crawford and Wayne County warrants. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for Wayne County.

9:05 p.m.- A report of possible drug activity was investigated.

9:43 p.m.- A report of an erratic driver was reported in the 600 block of East Rensselaer Street. The vehicle was described as a red Ford Ranger and the occupants were reportedly harassing the complainant.

9:48 p.m.- A report of a person walking in traffic was investigated in the area of East Mansfield and Lane Streets. The individual was not located.

11:30 p.m.-Multiple calls were received about a gunshot heard on the east side of town. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate anything.

12:36 a.m.-A report of juveniles running around in the 500 block of South Sandusky Avenue was investigated. The kids were on their own property and playing tag with a parent.

12:51 a.m.-A disturbance in the 500 block of South Sandusky Avenue was investigated. It was verbal noise and the residents had gone inside.

12:57 a.m.-An employee at the Holiday Inn requested an officer to walk-through due to a large group of people going in and out of one of the rooms and a report of a suspicious odor.

9:44 a.m.-Officers spoke to a man at the police department about gun laws.

12:32 p.m.-A report of loud music on Osman Street was investigated.

1:00 p.m.-Officers investigated a domestic dispute in the 900 block of Faustina Avenue.

1:19 p.m.-Officers investigated a disturbance in the 300 block of Blicke Street. People were having a dispute about remodeling a property.

4:06 p.m.-Officers responded to a disturbance in the 1800 block of East Mansfield Street. A patron was being hostile towards an employee of Walmart. The patron was asked to leave and was refusing to so. The patron did leave.

5:10 p.m.-A message was delivered in the 600 block of East Lucas Street.

5:31 p.m.-Officers responded to a complaint of a neighborhood dispute regarding mowing other people’s property without permission. A person was trespassed from the property in the 900 block of Hull Avenue.

5:50 p.m.-Officers investigated a juvenile complaint in the Hopley and Woodlawn Avenue area in which someone had committed a littering offense.

7:18 p.m.-Officers investigated a disturbance in the 1700 block of Whetstone Street. People were described as cussing and throwing objects. The individuals were upset about someone kicking a toy.

8:34 p.m.-Officers assisted the Bucyrus Fire Department in the 200 block of Hayes Avenue at the scene of a structure fire.

9:41 p.m.-An alarm was investigated in the 200 block of South Walnut Street.

9:45 p.m.-Officers searched the area of East Rensselaer and South Lane Streets for two speeding pickup trucks. It was a red Ford Ranger and a black Dodge Ram that were no longer in the area but reconvened later in the 600 block of East Rensselaer Street.

9:50 p.m.-Officers responded to a fight in the 200 block of West Warren Street. It was a loud verbal dispute.

10:34 p.m.-A disturbance in the 600 block of East Rensselaer Street was investigated. A red truck from earlier was parked and the occupants were having a verbal dispute with others. No assaults or threats were reported.

12:01 a.m.-Officers assisted a Crawford County Sheriff’s deputy on a traffic stop in the area of South Sandusky Avenue and Charles Street.

12:18 a.m.-A resident in the 900 block of East Mansfield Street reported that someone had entered his vehicle. The driver door and trunk were left open but nothing was reported missing and he thinks they ran off when his car alarm went off.

1:22 a.m.-Officers picked up a bag of medication left at someone’s house in the 800 block of Wingert Street.

2:03 a.m.-Officers assisted a Crawford County Sheriff’s deputy in the 400 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

3:25 a.m.-A report of a motorcycle speeding in the area of Monnett and West Irving Streets was investigated. Officers made contact with the motorcycle owner.

7:31 a.m.-Attempts were made to contact a man that was making suicidal threats. The man is believed to be in Michigan.

10:45 a.m.-A report of a disturbance involving an unruly patient in the 600 block of North Sandusky Avenue was investigated.

12:46 p.m.-A report of the misuse of a credit card was received from the 600 block of South Sandusky Avenue.

2:00 p.m.-Officers investigated a domestic dispute in the 800 block of Clay Street. No assaults or threats were claimed.

2:21 p.m.-Officers checked the Waterford Glen area after a report of people causing a disturbance. The people causing the ruckus were described as a group of teens in a small red truck yelling profanity.

3:08  p.m.-Officers investigated a walking domestic dispute in the area of Monnett and West Irving Streets. The matter was mediated and no assaults or threats were reported.

3:25  p.m.-Officers warned a person about trespassing on a property in the area of Washington Square.

4:17  p.m.-Officers investigated a juvenile complaint in the 500 block of East Rensselaer Street. The complainant reported being harassed by motorists that repeatedly drive by.

4:48  p.m.-Officers assisted the fire department in the 1300 block of Monnett Street. It was the scene of an outdoor burn that had recently been cited.

5:39  p.m.-Officers attempted to do a welfare check in the 900 block of East Mansfield Street.

6:05  p.m.-Officers spoke with a resident about a disturbance in the 500 block of Plymouth Street.

6:36  p.m.-Officers spoke with a person about a civil issue. People involved were encouraged to use a public exchange point, such as City Hall, to avoid issues in the future.

6:44  p.m.-Officers investigated a noise disturbance and possible verbal dispute in the area of Kaler Avenue and Gay Street. It was an outdoor church service with joyful noise.

7:03  p.m.-Officers responded to a report of an unresponsive person in a vehicle in the 600 block of South Walnut Street. EMS personnel and the Bucyrus Fire Department also responded to assist the person who was medically cleared. The person was charged with a drug offense and issued a court date.

8:07 p.m.-Officers mediated a domestic situation in the 200 block of West Mansfield Street.

9:31 p.m.-Officers responded to a fight reported in the area of Whetstone Street at Reid Street. Cameron Adams, 22, was arrested on a warrant out of Crawford County. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held pending a court appearance.

10:52 p.m.-Officers are investigating a hit-skip accident that happened in the area of Lane Street by Harmon Field. A motorist traveling on North Lane Street reported their vehicle struck by another car that left the area.

11:43 p.m.-Officers responded with the Bucyrus Fire Department and EMS personnel for a structure fire in the 900 block of Elm Street.

2:22 a.m.-A resident in the 300 block of Arch Drive reported seeing someone attempt to enter his vehicle. The car prowlers reportedly moved towards the 1200 block of South Sandusky Avenue. Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate anyone.

4:22 a.m.-A resident in the 600 block of East Rensselaer Street reported his vehicle windshield shattered.
