Thanks to the combined work of sheriff’s deputies from three counties, some stolen items will be returned to their rightful owners and a Bucyrus man has been relocated to the Wyandot County jail.
A joint investigation by the Sheriff’s offices of Crawford, Morrow and Wyandot counties resulted in finding two stolen firearms and a snow blower. The items had been sold to a Mansfield area business and had been stolen during three separate burglaries in Crawford County that occurred over the past month.
The Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for the arrest of 36-year-old Brad Pickleseimer of Bucyrus on burglary charges. Pickleseimer was arrested Friday east of Bucyrus by Crawford County Sheriff’s deputies in a traffic stop. Deputies from Wyandot County were on scene and took custody of Pickleseimer and seized his vehicle.
Deputies are working with burglary victims to identify numerous pieces of jewelry that that recovered from the same business that purchased the other stolen items.
