Mansfield, OH – FIRST Robotics Competition Team Stellar Robotics has announced the formation of a junior high level robotics team. FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Team Hercules is currently open for enrollment, and any student in grades 7 through 12 is welcome to join.
An informational meeting for parents will be held on Thursday, July 9, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Ontario Christian Church, 1029 Lewis Road, Mansfield, OH. Topics include what FIRST and FTC are about, the FTC season, and skills students will learn, as well as time for questions. A student meeting will follow on July 23.
Stellar Robotics will be on hand to answer questions about the high school level FRC program. Information will also be available about elementary level robotics programs that may be available. Attendees are under no obligation to sign up for any program, so plan to attend to get your questions answered, satisfy your curiosity, and find out what exactly the big deal is about robotics.
