The Ohio Department of Education released the annual report cards for each school district in the state Friday, and in Crawford County the school districts’ grades came across the board.

Four of the county’s six schools received an A on their report card with Buckeye Central receiving an A in Indicators Met (91.7%). Colonel Crawford received A’s in Overall Progress, as well as expected Graduation Rate in 4 years (100%) and Graduation Rate in 5 years (98.5%) Galion City Schools received A’s in Overall Progress, Progress among Gifted, and Progress in Student’s with Disabilities. Bucyrus Received A’s in Overall Progress and Progress of Student’s with Disabilities.

Crestline and Wynford were the only school districts in the county to not receive an A on their report card with Crestline receiving a B in Graduation Rate in 5 years (90.4%) and Wynford receiving a B in their Performance Index (81.5%).

Once again only Buckeye Central (C) and Colonel Crawford (C) received higher grades than F in the Gap Closing category of the state’s grading system. The Gap Closing category rates student success regardless of income, race, culture, or disability.
