February is “Love Your Library” month and Bucyrus Public Library is inviting everyone to express how much they love their library.

Throughout the month of February there will be “love note” forms located at the circulation desk and in the young adult and children’s rooms of the library.  Patrons are invited to write how much Bucyrus Public Library means to them, a special anecdote involving the Bucyrus Public Library or something special that the library staff has helped them accomplish.  They can then turn in their “love notes” at the circulation desk for a special gift.  All “love notes” will then be hung on the first floor of the library where patrons can read them.  Some will be used as testimonials for upcoming brochures and flyers.

Love Your Library Month is a month-long celebration of public, school and private libraries.  It is a time for everyone to recognize the important role libraries play in the cultural and economic success of local communities and the nation as a whole.  Whether patrons depend on the library for bestselling books, children’s storytimes, family programming or Internet access, they are encouraged to show their appreciation for their library in February.
