The Bucyrus Public Library has scheduled several special programs over the next several days. A listing of these upcoming programs follows
STORIES AND STITCHES AT THE LIBRARY
“Abraham’s Well” by Sharon Ewell Foster is the book for discussion at the Wednesday, June 26 meeting of the Bucyrus Public Library’s Stories and Stitches book discussion group.
A tour of WyandotCounty is planned to coincide with the Indian theme of the book. Members will depart from the library at 9:15 am and travel to Indian Mill for the discussion and then travel on to other points of interest.
Anyone interested in knitting, sewing or other handiwork and light fiction are invited to attend.

JEWELRY MAKING AT THE LIBRARY
Young adults are invited to the Beneath the Surface of the Sea program to make beach jewelry on Wednesday, June 26 at 6:30 pm in the Young Adult Room of the Bucyrus Public Library.
Jewelry maker Samantha Lydick will be demonstrating how to make bracelets with seashells, beads and other beach items. Participants will be making one bracelet to take home with them. The class is limited to 15 young adults.

MAGIC SHOW AT THE LIBRARY
The zany Mark Wood Fun Show is coming to the Bucyrus Public Library on Friday, June 28 at 2:00 pm to perform his “I Dig Reading” program in the community room.
Wood will use magic juggling, comedy and audience participation to find the missing “Golden Nugget,” a treasure trove of summer reading.
Wood, of Jackson, Ohio, loves to make people laugh. Mark started entertaining audiences when he was just eight years old and has been in show business for more than 40 years. During his stage shows, Mark delights audiences with his crazy comedy, magic, juggling and lots of audience participation.
Wood is a full-time professional entertainer. He has been featured on many television shows and now travels extensively throughout the Midwest. He performs at schools, libraries, county fairs, festivals, malls and corporate events.

COUPON CLASS AT THE LIBRARY
As part of the ‘Groundbreaking Reads’ adult summer reading program, the Bucyrus Public Library will be hosting “Groundbreaking Savings: A Grocery Savings Coupon Class” on Saturday, June 29, 10:00-12:00 in meeting room AB.
Lynette Rice, author of SimplyClever.com and a Savings.com DealPro will be presenting the free class. She will be Realistic Couponing: how to save at least 50% on your grocery bills, Strategic Grocery Shopping: where and how to get the best buys and Meal Planning Made Simple to help keep grocery costs down. Everyone attending will receive a workbook and are also invited to bring a sack lunch.

BLOOD DRIVE AT THE LIBRARY
The Bucyrus Public Library will be hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive on Friday, June 28, 12:00-5:00, in meeting room A/B.
Blood supplies are at a low and donors are urgently needed especially for O, A, B, and AB negatives. Anyone who has last donated blood on or before May 3, 2013, may be eligible to give. Students who are at least 17 and meet the height and weight requirements may also donate. Sixteen-year-olds may donate with parental permission.
