A special edition of Supervisor Bootcamp is intended to “spark” all supervisors and all management levels in the community to learn, apply, and engage their businesses and employees.

Summer SPARK (Supervisors Promoting Awareness, Responsibility, and Knowledge) will hold its first session of three sessions on June 12 at the Bucyrus Public Library.

The session will feature Ryan J. Morley, a shareholder of the Cleveland, Ohio office of Jackson Lewis P.C. This will be an interactive session and presentation concerning the applicability of employment law for organizations. Morley will discuss the do’s and don’ts of the recruitment process, harassment and discrimination, retaliation, best practices for employee discipline, workplace investigations, bullying, social media, FMLA, and FLSA.

The session will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The cost of the program will be $50, with lunch included in the price.
