The Bucyrus Tourism and Visitors Bureau will be holding a Speakeasy Dinner Theater “Roaring 20’s Live” on Saturday, May 10, 2014. The doors will open at 4:30 p.m. with the production, “Roaring Twenties Live,” at 5:00 p.m.
Tickets are $35 per person inclusive and are on sale now at the Bucyrus Tourism and Visitors Bureau Office located at 301 South Sandusky Avenue any day Monday through Friday during the hours 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or you may mail your check to P.O. Box 1023, Bucyrus, Ohio 44820.
The show will be at the Speakeasy, the original location where the gangsters frequented during the 1920’s as they traveled from Chicago to New York by rail. Following the show everyone will go next door to the Dillinger’s Event Center for hors d’oeuvres; a two meat buffet meal including dessert; and additional entertainment by United in Harmony singers. The show is performed by area theater personnel and friends of the Bureau.
This Speakeasy Show is an original play full of history, singing and dancing 1920’s style. It may include a visit from the famous Al Capone.
