Employee engagement will be the focus of the second session of Summer SPARK.

Summer SPARK (Supervisors Promoting Awareness, Responsibility, and Knowledge) is a special edition of Supervisor Bootcamp that teaches supervisors and various management levels in the community how to learn, apply, and engage their business and employees.

The second of three sessions will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on July 15 at the Bucyrus Public Library. Kelly Petrock will present “The High Performance Work Climate: Employee Engagement, Motivation and Development.” He will be discussing various topics, including:

  • The four critical motivators that matter most to employees and how to effectively stimulate and satisfy these motives at work
  • The needs of today’s multi-generational workforce
  • The power of organization climate on employee engagement and performance
  • The health and functioning of your work climate and actions to improve
  • How to effectively measure employee engagement and best practices in using employee surveys for maximum benefit and impact
  • How to differentiate between truly engaged followers and those who are not engaged.

Petrock has over 20 years of experience and knowledge in change management, strategy, organizational development, and performance improvement.
