“South of the Square Block Rally” Raises $3,100 for Sleep in Heavenly Peace

The South of the Square Block Rally raised $3,100 for Sleep in Heavenly Peace's Crawford-Wyandot chapter, bringing the event's total charitable contributions since 2010 to more than $50,000.

BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The South of the Square Block Rally that was held on June 26 at Schines Art Park raised $3,100 for the nonprofit, Sleep in Heavenly Peace.

Thirty-two local businesses participated in this year’s event, and the funds raised will go to the Sleep in Heavenly Peace local chapter serving Crawford and Wyandot Counties. Sleep in Heavenly Peace’s mission is to ensure that no child sleeps on the floor and instead has their own bed.

Since the first block rally in 2010, over $50,000 has been raised to help several nonprofits.
