BUCYRUS—The “South of the Square Block Rally” was held at Schines Art Park on June 25th. Forty-two businesses sponsored the event that benefited the Governor’s Imagination Library of Crawford County. Governor’s Imagination Library’s goal is to start a new chapter in early childhood literacy in Ohio. The program sends a new book every month to children from birth to age five. Governor’s Imagination Library is working to ensure that every student enters kindergarten ready to succeed. Accepting a donation in the amount of $3,700 was Barb Scott, Local Representative & Children’s Librarian at Bucyrus Public Library.
