Wednesday’s drug bust in Bucyrus was the gift that just kept giving as far as work for the Bucyrus Police Department.

Related to that drug bust was the seizure of a boa constrictor and python from the Whetstone Street residence. On Thursday officers assisted the Humane Society of Crawford County and Christina Bruner was cited for keeping prohibited animals in the city.

Bucyrus police and Children’s services were also involved Thursday in the investigation of child endangerment of children ages 1, 3 and 3 that were present during the execution of a search warrant at that home the night before.

In unrelated cases Myron Carroll was arrested for on a charge of domestic violence and Dustin Nolen was arrested as a result of a warrant issued in Crawford County. Carroll was taken to the county jail and Nolen was released with a date to appear in court.
