The Remembering Becky benefit took place at Suburban Lanes this past weekend to help cover funeral expenses for Rebecca Needs Saturday.
Put on by her sister Carol Ann Greaves, the benefit was a way to share memories of Needs, who passed away unexpectedly, as well as help cover funeral costs.
A spaghetti dinner was held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. with three dollars from each meal going towards Remembering Becky. Throughout the day anyone purchasing a single game of bowling for three dollars, one dollar would go towards the Remembering Becky fund, purchase of two hours of bowling and five dollars would be donated. The event also featured raffle prizes and a 50/50 drawing.
For those who couldn’t make it to the fundraiser, but would still like to donate to the Remembering Becky fund can do so through the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home.
